Alfred Angelo Bridal was one of the world's largest manufacturers and retailers of wedding dresses. The company was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1933 by Alfred Angelo Piccione and his wife, Edythe Vincent Piccione. Over the years, Alfred Angelo became renowned for its wedding dress designs that combined classic styles with modern trends, catering to a wide range of personal tastes and sizes.

Alfred Angelo was particularly known for its bridal gown collection, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, and wedding accessories. One of their most popular lines was the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings collection, which featured gowns inspired by Disney princess characters.

However, in July 2017, Alfred Angelo Bridal abruptly closed all of its stores and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, leaving many brides and bridal parties stranded without dresses. This closure was a significant event in the bridal industry and caused considerable distress among customers who had orders pending. Following the bankruptcy, other bridal shops and designers offered discounts and assistance to those affected by Alfred Angelo's sudden shutdown.
