The Evening Dress Uniform, also known as the Blue Dress Uniform, is a formal military uniform worn by the United States Marine Corps for special occasions and ceremonial events. It consists of a dark blue coat with red trim and gold buttons, worn over a white dress shirt and blue trousers. The uniform also includes a white belt, white gloves, and a combination cover with a white plume. Ribbons and medals may be worn on the uniform as well. The Evening Dress Uniform is considered one of the most prestigious and formal uniforms in the Marine Corps.
