Traditional Filipino clothing varies depending on the region and cultural influences. In general, traditional Filipino attire for women includes the baro't saya, a blouse and skirt combination, often made from delicate fabrics like piña (pineapple fiber) or jusi (silk). The baro't saya is usually worn with a tapis, a wrap-around skirt. Men traditionally wear the barong tagalog, a lightweight embroidered shirt, paired with trousers called trousers called salakot.

In modern times, Filipinos typically wear Western-style clothing such as t-shirts, jeans, dresses, and suits. However, traditional attire is still worn for special occasions and cultural events. Many Filipinos also incorporate traditional elements into their everyday clothing, such as wearing barongs for formal events or adding traditional accessories like the salakot or tribal jewelry. Additionally, ethnic groups in the Philippines have their own unique traditional clothing, such as the colorful woven fabrics worn by the Igorot people or the intricate beadwork of the T'boli people.
