Fashion dresses

Materials needed:
- Fabric of your choice (satin, tulle, organza, etc)
- Lining fabric
- Zipper
- Thread
- Sewing machine
- Scissors
- Pins
- Measuring tape

Instructions:
1. Start by taking your measurements. You will need to measure your bust, waist, hips, and the length from your waist to the floor.

2. Use these measurements to create a basic dress pattern. You can find free dress pattern templates online or create your own by drawing out the shape of the dress on paper.

3. Cut out the pattern pieces on your chosen fabric. You will need to cut out the front and back pieces of the dress, as well as the sleeves if you are adding them.

4. Sew the front and back pieces together at the side seams, leaving an opening for the zipper. Sew the shoulder seams together as well.

5. Attach the sleeves to the dress, if you are adding them, and sew the sleeve and side seams together.

6. Hem the bottom of the dress to your desired length.

7. Sew in the zipper along the back opening.

8. Cut out the lining fabric using the same pattern pieces and sew them together in the same way as the main dress.

9. Attach the lining to the main dress by sewing them together at the neckline and armholes.

10. Try on the dress and make any necessary adjustments for the perfect fit.

Your mermaid dress is now complete and ready to wear! Feel free to embellish with sequins, beads, or lace for a more glamorous look.
