The traditional dress of the Mizo people, an ethnic group native to the northeastern state of Mizoram in India, is known as Puan. The Puan is typically a handwoven fabric made from cotton or silk, and is often adorned with intricate designs and patterns.

The women's traditional dress consists of a wrap-around skirt called a 'puanchei' or 'tihfai', which is paired with a blouse known as a 'kawrchei'. The outfit is often accessorized with a shawl called a 'hrawkawl', which is draped over the shoulder. Women also wear traditional jewelry such as silver bangles, earrings, and necklaces.

Men traditionally wear a loincloth called a 'puandawrlawn', along with a sleeveless jacket known as a 'kut', and a headgear called a 'puandum'. Men also wear traditional jewelry such as silver bracelets and necklaces.

The Mizo people take great pride in their traditional dress and often wear it during cultural events, festivals, and special occasions. The Puan is not only a symbol of the Mizo culture, but also a representation of their rich heritage and craftsmanship.
