Materials:
- 2 yards of fabric
- Sewing machine
- Scissors
- Pins
- One shoulder strap dress pattern template
Instructions:
1. Fold your fabric in half with the right sides facing each other.
2. Place the dress pattern template on top of the fabric and pin it in place.
3. Cut around the template to create the front and back pieces of the dress.
4. Remove the template and pin the two pieces together along the side seams.
5. Sew along the side seams with a straight stitch.
6. Fold and press the top edge of the dress to create a clean finish.
7. Cut a strip of fabric for the shoulder strap, about 2 inches wide and the desired length.
8. Fold the strip in half lengthwise and press it flat.
9. Attach the shoulder strap to the dress by sewing it along the top edge of the dress.
10. Try on the dress and adjust the shoulder strap to the desired length.
11. Hem the bottom edge of the dress to finish.
Your one shoulder strap dress is now complete! You can customize it by adding embellishments or choosing a different fabric. Enjoy wearing your handmade creation!
